1 Item 5 Ways: Sneakers

The idea of joggers mixed into street style and even gracing the runway of Chanel's Spring couture show is something a lot of us never saw coming... But, man, are we grateful it did! Concepts from the streets and runways have come together to brilliantly influence the wonderful world of retail. There are now so many fabulous sneaker choices out there to choose from, and our wardrobes (and feet) are so thankful! Although this is an intimidating trend to some (the new balance and jean combination scarred most of us), there are without-a-doubt a bunch of new and fresh ways to rock this look. Check out five ways we're encouraging you to give it a spin.

With Jeans

This look can be perfect for a casual dinner, a concert, a night out, you name it! We like the way a pair of distressed, loosely fit jeans compliments the grungy side of sneakers. Pair this look with a t-shirt or a more feminine top, like Samantha, and concur this trend with pure personality!

With Sweats

The classic tennis shoe pairing... but now it's even better! Yes, a pair off sweats can be dressed up and pulled of as an every day look! When you have a busy day of errands or feel like jazzing up your morning routine, throw on some fancy sweats and hit the streets in comfort! The secret to not looking like you rolled out of bed is to pair your bottoms with a fancier top. Bri's embellished sweatshirt is the perfect compliment. Try it out!

With a Skirt

We love the way this femme skirt compliments the sporty footwear. Sneakers allow for so much freedom. Make a statement by adding in fun textures and silhouettes to mix up their traditional sporty feel. When you pair a skirt with tennis shoes, you make what would typically be a nighttime look daytime appropriate! When dinner time roles around, simply add on a necklace and a fabulous clutch and you are ready again for night.

With Overalls

This is a way to play up all that is trending right now - overalls, sneakers, and sparkles! Because these shoes do automatically add a casual element to any look, it is never a bad idea to add a little glitz to glam up your look. With a neutral color on your feet, you are free to embellish all you want!

Don't be afraid to mix up your date night look with a pair of gym shoes. You will definitely be comfortable while dancing the night away.

Truly Yours,
