Meet Bri!
Hello, beauties!
I’m Bri, and I am beyond excited to begin this blogging adventure with you all! My entire life, and I am not exaggerating when I say that, I have LOVED clothes. As soon as I was old enough to dress myself, I took full advantage of it by putting together the most stylish of outfits. I’m talking polka-dotted tights with my Scottie Dog printed dress and as many butterfly barrettes as I could fit on my head.
Over the years my style has definitely evolved in more ways than you can imagine. From girly to sporty to who knows what, up until now, my life seemed to be a constant fashion evolution. Fashion is my art form. The past few years of my life have been all about self-discovery. With this I do feel that I have finally found a style that encompasses all that I am, and I have never felt so confident and comfortable in my own skin.
Fashion should always be a personal adventure. Be inspired by others, but be more inspired by yourself.
I find it so important to not get stuck on the trends and the designer labels. Yes, I do dream of owning a classic Chanel bag and a fabulous pair of red-soled stilettos, what young fashionista doesn’t?! Though what is even more important than these extravagant labels is how you wear them.
Personal Style is one’s own unique form of self-expression. In my opinion, a person’s wardrobe can say so much without uttering a word. Your clothes should speak to who you are. They should allow you to exude confidence every single day. There is no need to worry about confining yourself within a specific label. Allow your personal style to encompass all the parts of your life that make you, YOU!
My personal style seems to be one glorious melting pot. When it comes to color I am a pure minimalist. Black and gray are my favorite colors and I am proud of it. Texture is really where my edgier side comes out. Leather, lace, fur, and fringe; I love them all and you better believe that I mix-and-match them on a daily basis, not to mention I am a sucker for a good chunky knit. My girly side comes out through my accessories. A little bit of sparkle is a must, but simplicity is key. Always. So I guess I am a minimalist with a girly edge? Why not! Your Personal Style is all about you! So make it whatever you want and know that confidence is always your best accessory.
Truly yours,

Meet Samantha!
Hello lovelies,
I’m Samantha, and I’m beyond excited to start
sharing with you all in the wonderful world of blogging. I have a gift for each
and every one of you and it’s the world’s best-kept-secret.
Fashion
isn’t about who you’re wearing
Or
who wore it first
Or
how much it cost
Fashion is all about YOU. You read that right. You,
yourself, and no one else. It’s your outlet in which it’s perfectly okay to
self-obsess. In fact, I demand you to do it!
This is how I live my life. This is where I fixate all my
forms of inspiration. This is what causes me to explode with passion for this
art form every single day. Because being truly you is so very rare in our
paradoxical society made up of people who are so desperate to stand out that
they end up fitting in – and that’s my favorite part.
Fashion can be whatever you want it to be, and for me, it’s free
flowing, whimsical, playful, and adventurous. I dress by my own set of
guidelines that come only from my aesthetic eye and never from the rulebook. I
always wear at least one thing that will stand out (sometimes just my red hair
;) ).
I could never put a concrete label on what I portray with my
clothing because in a few months I might look completely different. That’s the
fun of it all – fashion is my endless change.
However, there are a few specific things about my style that
seem to stay constant. While every fashionista could be okay with living in
black, I also love natural color palettes (cream, white, tan, earthy greens)
and rich color palettes (gold, maroon, army green). Raw materials and stones
are a huge part of me right now, which play on my everlasting obsession with
texture. I’m a shoe freak. Every shoe I wear just has to be perfect (A.K.A. you
don’t want to go shoe shopping with me). And all of these things mesh together
to create my thoughtful, yet completely genuine image.
Creating an image is one of the fabulous perks of fashion.
What have you created?
Remember – never confine yourself, only define yourself.
P.S. "I wear colors that I really like, I wear makeup that makes me feel pretty, and it really helps. It doesn't have anything to do with how the world perceives you. What matters is what you see. Your body is your temple, it's your home, and you must decorate it." - Gabourey Sidibe
